How much do hearing aids cost? Hearing aids are customized for each individual. They are not items which you can fit yourself. It takes skill, knowledge and care on the part of the audiologist to assist you. The actual "purchase" of hearing aids also includes the evaluation, diagnosis, verification measures, counselling and follow-up services. In other words, hearing aids are only a part of the whole.
Price depends upon the style, circuit and selected options. At Advanced Hearing Solutions, the price of a hearing aid may range from approximately $750 to over $3900. It includes the hearing aids as well as the whole package of services for testing, fitting and follow-up care.
If you get a "deal" from a clinic which offers very low prices, but then have to pay for follow-up elsewhere, you really didn't get a deal in the first place. Back to top
What comes with the original purchase of a hearing aid? At Advanced Hearing Solutions, we supply you with a case, cleaning tools, instruction manual, batteries and warranty for repairs. Multiple appointments will be offered to you during the first two months of hearing aid use as well as a maintenance program, consisting of hearing aid check-ups to contribute to long-term success. Audiograms and fine tuning / reprogramming are also provided at no charge during the first two years. Back to top
Can hearings be returned if not satisfactory? All hearing instruments purchased at Advanced Hearing Solutions come with a 60 day adjustment period. If you have unforseen problems after trying the hearing aid, you can either return the instrument for a refund or switch to another aid during the first 60 days. At Advanced Hearing Solutions, only the assessment fee paid is non-refundable. There are no extra return or restocking fees. Back to top
